Receiving Medical Services
Thank you for your interest in receiving care from the Flagler Free Clinic. We are a non-profit organization committed to serving the health needs of uninsured adults in Flagler and Volusia Counties by providing high-quality, compassionate medical care at no cost. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to basic healthcare, regardless of their financial situation.
Our team of dedicated volunteers and medical professionals works hard to ensure that those in our community who are most in need receive the care they deserve—from routine checkups and lab work to chronic disease management and specialty services.
New patients can come to the clinic, without an appointment Monday-Thursday from 9-2, to register.
Please note that if you are experiencing a medical emergency or a life-threatening condition, we urge you to call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. The Flagler Free Clinic does not operate as an emergency care facility.

You are not already Insured
You are not enrolled in private health insurance, Medicaid (or you are and there's not a provider near you, or Medicare Part B. Residents over the age of 65, click for more information.

You complete your new patient registration at your medical intake appointment
After new patient registration, qualified patients will be given an appointment with a nurse for medical intake and assigned a primary care physician.
Our Medical Services
At the Flagler Free Clinic, we provide a wide range of essential medical services including primary care, dental care, women’s health, eye care, and specialty services such as cardiology, hematology, oncology, and orthopedics. We also support our patients with diabetic care and education, lab work, imaging, vaccinations, medications, mental health referrals, healthcare education, and guidance with Healthcare.gov navigation—all at no cost to qualifying residents. We also work with Flagler County Human Services to provide additional specialty services.

Primary Care
Our primary care services include routine checkups, screenings, and chronic disease management to help you stay on top of your overall health. Our volunteer providers are here to support your long-term wellness and treat a variety of non-emergency health concerns.

Dental Services
We offer basic dental care including cleanings, extractions, and treatment for dental pain and infections. Maintaining oral health is an important part of your overall well-being, and we’re here to help those without access to regular dental services.

Women's Health
Our women’s health services include annual exams, breast exams, pap smears, and reproductive health education. We provide compassionate, confidential care tailored to each woman’s unique needs.

Hematology
We provide access to hematology specialists for the diagnosis and management of blood disorders. This includes conditions such as anemia, clotting issues, and more complex hematologic concerns.

Eye Care
We offer eye exams to check vision and screen for common eye conditions. If glasses or further treatment are needed, we can help guide you to appropriate next steps.

Orthopedic Care
Our orthopedic specialists evaluate and treat joint, bone, and muscle concerns. Whether it’s a chronic issue or injury-related discomfort, we help patients regain mobility and reduce pain.

Diabetic Specialist
Patients with diabetes have access to specialized care focused on controlling blood sugar and managing complications. Our team offers personalized treatment plans to help maintain stable health. New diabetes classes will start September, 2024.

Neurology through Flagler Human Services
Neurology services are available from Flagler Human Services and help address conditions affecting the brain and nervous system, such as migraines, seizures, and nerve disorders.

Lab Work and Imaging
We offer in-house lab work and diagnostic imaging to support medical evaluations and diagnoses. These services help our providers get the full picture of your health without sending you to outside facilities.

Mental Health Referral
We now offer in-house mental health care, including counseling and support for a range of emotional and psychological needs. Mental wellness is a vital part of overall health, and our team is here to provide compassionate care in a safe, confidential setting.

Healthcare Education
We offer resources and guidance to help patients better understand their health, conditions, and treatment options. Empowering patients through knowledge is part of our mission.

Healthcare.gov Navigation
Our trained staff can assist patients with understanding and navigating the Healthcare.gov marketplace. We help eligible individuals explore insurance options and complete applications.

Vaccinations
We provide essential vaccines to help protect patients against preventable diseases such as flu, tetanus, and COVID-19. Staying up to date with vaccines is a key part of preventive care.

Medications
We dispense commonly prescribed medications at no cost to qualifying patients. Our goal is to ensure that cost never stands in the way of taking care of your health.
