Medical, dental, and other licensed professionals are also required to complete the Sovereign Immunity Application.
Once we receive your form(s), a member of our team will contact you promptly. All prospective volunteers will also meet with our Executive Director to discuss your interests, goals, and how your skills can best support our clinic.

Clinical Roles
These volunteer opportunities allow healthcare professionals to make a meaningful impact in their community, with every $1 donated providing $10 worth of medical care to those in need.
Physicians
Provide primary care medical services including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for uninsured and underinsured patients in Flagler and Volusia counties.
Medical Specialists
Offer specialized care in areas like oncology, neurology, orthopedics, and podiatry to patients who otherwise couldn't access these critical services.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs)
Deliver comprehensive healthcare services including patient assessments, care coordination, and treatment management under collaborative practice agreements.
Nursing Assistants
Support clinical staff by assisting with patient care activities, vital signs monitoring, and helping ensure smooth clinic operations.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Provide direct patient care support including basic medical assistance and comfort measures while maintaining patient dignity and safety.
Paramedics & EMTs
Utilize emergency medical training to assist with patient assessments, basic life support, and urgent care situations within the clinic setting.
Medical Assistants
Perform clinical and administrative duties including patient intake, vital signs collection, and assisting healthcare providers during examinations.
Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians
Manage medication dispensing, provide drug counseling, and ensure safe pharmaceutical care for patients receiving free medications through the clinic.
Occupational Therapists
Help patients regain functional abilities and independence through therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment recommendations.
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
Provide mental health counseling and connect patients with community resources to address social determinants of health.
Mental Health Therapists
Offer individual and group therapy services as part of the clinic's mental health program launching in January 2025.
Clinical Psychologists
Conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based mental health treatment for patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Dietitian & Nutritionists
Provide nutritional counseling and education to help patients manage chronic conditions and improve overall health outcomes.
Acupuncturists
Offer alternative pain management and wellness treatments as part of the clinic's holistic approach to patient care.
Dentists
Provide essential dental care including examinations, cleanings, fillings, and extractions for patients who lack dental insurance coverage.
Dental Assistants
Support dental procedures by preparing patients, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during treatments.
Dental Hygienists
Perform preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and patient education on oral health maintenance.
Dental Specialists
Provide specialized dental services such as oral surgery, periodontics, or endodontics for complex cases requiring advanced care.
Support & Admin Roles
These non-clinical volunteer roles are equally vital to the Free Clinic's mission, allowing the organization to maximize every donated dollar while providing comprehensive support to the community's most vulnerable residents.
Administrative Assistants
Provide essential office support including filing, data entry, appointment scheduling, and general administrative tasks to keep clinic operations running smoothly.
Events & Fundraising Support
Assist with planning and executing fundraising events, donor outreach activities, and community engagement initiatives that help sustain the clinic's mission.
Photography
Capture compelling images of clinic events, volunteer activities, and patient success stories (with appropriate permissions) for marketing and fundraising materials.
Accounting Reception
Handle front desk duties including greeting visitors, answering phones, and providing basic accounting support such as invoice processing and financial record maintenance.
Patient Service Representatives
Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing information about services, assisting with paperwork, and ensuring a welcoming clinic experience.
Data Analysts
Help analyze patient demographics, service utilization, and clinic outcomes to support grant applications and improve program effectiveness.
Maintenance Knowledge
Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to ensure the clinic environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming for patients and staff.
Marketing Assistants
Support promotional efforts through social media management, newsletter creation, community outreach materials, and helping spread awareness about clinic services.
Patient Registration Specialists
Guide new and returning patients through the registration process, verify eligibility requirements, and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Community Outreach
Build relationships with local organizations, churches, and community groups to increase awareness of clinic services and connect underserved populations with care.
Risk Management Specialists
Ensure clinic compliance with healthcare regulations, maintain safety protocols, and help minimize operational risks while protecting patient privacy and clinic assets.
